A startup is a company designed to grow fast. Growth is the ultimate measure of product-market fit and since design exists to serve business goals — carefully balancing that with user needs, I take a growth-driven approach with my work.

This begins from the start of a new project. I seek to understand the business goals and how success will be measured for the product or feature being built. At this stage, I also conduct user research to derive insights on the needs and pain points of the users.

Driven by these insights, I explore a range of possible solutions and employ rapid prototyping and testing to validate these ideas before handing off for development.

Post-launch, I keep track of the key project metrics using data analytics software to measure growth and spot new issues that can be starting points for further product improvement.
