Building a social live learning experience
Cline is a web platform for creators to host live classes alongside self-paced content and community for their courses.
The goal of this project was to design the MVP for the platform to validate customer needs. My focus was on building a unified experience — one that easily brings together the different components needed for hosting live learning programs.

The platform is built around the concept of learning studios — a studio is a dedicated space for hosting a live learning programs and comes with tools for scheduling live classes, community chat, and uploading content. Studios are color-coded with blue being studios you own, purple being studios you’re teaching, and green being studios where you are a student.
Creators can upload recorded content including text, videos, and assignments.
Live classes or sessions can be scheduled within a studio. In a single view, anyone can see and attend these live sessions.
The community is a space where participants can connect, discuss, ask questions, get help, etc.
Threaded conversations with tags keep everything neat and tidy.
I also designed program landing pages from where people can join a studio.
